Florida rapper Yung Kali, born Calvin Cadet, has overcome many obstacles to become a successful artist in the rap game. From a young age, Yung Kali was surrounded by poverty and violence in his hometown of Miami. Despite these difficult circumstances, he was determined to make something of himself. Yung Kali began to write music at an early age and eventually gained recognition from local radio stations and promoters. His debut mixtape, “let me be 1hunnid” was released in 2019 and was a huge success. Since then, Yung Kali has released multiple projects, including his track, “Forever 1k”. His music has been praised for its honest and genuine lyrics, and Yung Kali’s unique sound has continued to stand out amongst other artists.
